Wood Stove Installation Costs
Installation prices will vary depending on the condition and suitability of your fireplace, chimney and air ventiliation. We will need to carry out a survey of your property to provide a more accurate quotation.
As a rough guide, HETAS certified wood burning stove installations can cost as little as £500 where flue re-lining is not required. Generally all houses built before 1950 will some form of flue-lining.
HETAS certified installations which require a new twin wall flexible stainless steel flue can cost between £750 and £1,200. Costs vary depending on the flue pipe diameter and height of your building.
Stove installations requiring a twin walled insulated flue start from £1,400. These are generally used for exposed flues when the building doesn’t have an existing chimney flue.
In accordance with the Building Regulations Approved Document J ammended 1st October 2010, all solid fuel installations now have to include a carbon monoxide detector. We take health and safety very seriously and for that reason include a detector on every project free of charge.
